Job Summary:
We are looking for a capable Warehouse Specialist to support our company’s warehouse operations. You will receive, input, sort, load and unload products and perform various warehouse activities
Primary Responsibilities:
· Process package and ship orders accurately
· Unload trucks and receive in inventory
· Organize stocks and maintain inventory
· Utilize a Production Report and work closely with Customer Service to ensure timely shipments.
· Organize warehouse space
· Work with transportation contacts for all shipments as well as brokers for international shipments
· Responsible for light configuration of some product.
· Assists in all matters of facilities maintenance, safety, and upkeep.
Decision Making Authority:
The Warehouse Specialist performs duties in an independent manner with little or no supervision, exercises basic discretion and judgment regarding routine work, and looks for assistance on non-routine events and issues
Skills Required:
· Ability to lift heavy boxes
· Prior experience and strong knowledge of shipping protocols
· Strong organizational skills
· Good business judgment
· Good interpersonal skills
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a complete manner
· Ability to proactively anticipate needs
· Ability to be flexible and work as part of a team
· Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize
· Working knowledge of MS office, Word, Excel, and shipping programs such as Fedex and UPS. Ability to learn new programs such as Microsoft Dynamics AX
· High School degree or equivalent
