Job Description

**Full Time (80 hours/pay period)** **Days** **5, 8-hour shifts working 7:30a-3:30p in rotation. Including 2 out of 5 weekends, 2 holidays per year and on call rotation.** **General Summary** Performs routine diagnostic, technical and/or special radiographic procedures at a general skill level. **Duties and Responsibilities** + Performs radiographic examinations, obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient concerns. + Performs diagnostic procedures in one of the following specialty areas at a beginner level: operating room procedures (includes overhead, fluoroscopic and C-arm procedures), complex portables, or trauma procedures. + Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations. + Positions and transfers patients safely and comfortably and explains basic procedure. + Immobilizes patients as necessary and practices radiation safety procedures + Properly processes images using digital technology + Evaluates recorded images for technical quality; consistently maintains a repeat rate under 6%. + Participates in and collaborates with other departments on projects to improve care and efficiency as needed. **Required for All Jobs:** + Performs other related duties as identified. + WellSpan Health has adopted and implemented a compliance program to support WellSpan's values and standards for professionalism, integrity, and ethics.
