Description Robert Half is partnering with a respected education entity seeking an experienced Public Records Paralegal to support their legal team. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to handle impactful public-sector work while maintaining a flexible, work-from-home schedule. Key Responsibilities: + Manage all aspects of California Public Records Act (CPRA) requests + Track, review, and process incoming public records requests + Coordinate with internal departments to collect, organize, and produce responsive documents + Conduct privilege reviews and apply appropriate redactions + Maintain accurate logs, timelines, and compliance documentation + Communicate with requestors and stakeholders professionally and timely Requirements + Experience handling CPRA processes at the paralegal level is required + Prior work with municipal, educational, or public-sector entities strongly preferred + Strong understanding of public records laws, exemptions, and redaction standards + Excellent organizational, communication, and document-management skills + Must reside in California If you're a detail-driven paralegal with hands-on CPRA experience looking for a meaningful remote role in the public sector, we'd love to connect with you!
