In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining plate‑forming equipment, ensuring optimal setup and performance. **What You'll Be Doing** **Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:** - Responsible for wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining a clean, safe and orderly workplace. - Demonstrates a commitment to maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area. Follows safety regulations and actively contributes to work safety. - Follows all standard work, control plans, all processes, and quality guidelines - Setting up, operating and dismantling of tools to support product mix changes and requirements - Demonstrates flexibility in approach and ideas, responds positively and supports changes in procedures, process, technology, responsibility and assignments. - Maintains cooperative and productive working relationships and communications with all employees, participating effectively as a team member or as a team leader. Encourages and assists in self-improvement. - Verifies dimension and alignment of pressed parts, and performs surface and physical inspections, visually. **What We're Looking For** **The ideal candidate possesses these skills:** - High school diploma/(GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings, and procedure manuals. - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. - The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
