Job Description:

As a Patient Care Technician at Advanced Care Specialists, you will work alongside our team of healthcare professionals, gaining valuable hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers with procedures and treatments
• Update patient charts accurately
• Provide therapeutic modalities on patients to gain hands-on experience
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
• Escort patients to testing areas and provide assistance as needed
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless coordination of care
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Flexibility to work evenings as needed
